Our Pre- and Postnatal WOFs are designed to give you reassurance, practical tools, and a plan tailored just for you.
Pre or Postnatal Assessments (WOFs) at Unity Studios
Whether you’re wanting to feel stronger in pregnancy, prepare for birth, or recover well after your baby arrives, these sessions help you:

These are one-on-one, 45-minute sessions with a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist. An investment in your body, your recovery, and your future self.
Prenatal WOF
Feel confident, strong, and prepared for birth.
A 45-minute physical assessment, recommended around 20 weeks of pregnancy (but valuable at any stage). Together, we’ll look at what matters most to you and create a plan that supports both your pregnancy and your goals.
This session can include:
- Pelvic floor assessment with real-time ultrasound (so you can actually see how your muscles are working)
- Posture and breathing assessment to keep you moving well as your body changes
- Guidance on easing and managing pregnancy symptoms
- Birth preparation tools, including perineal massage education if relevant
- Advice on early postpartum recovery so you know what to expect
- Safe, tailored exercise recommendations
- An individualised home programme to support your goals
Postnatal WOF
Reconnect, recover, and move forward with confidence.
A 45-minute physical assessment, recommended from around 6 weeks postpartum (or sooner at 4 weeks if you’re experiencing symptoms and would like early support). We tailor this session to your recovery and goals, it’s about giving you the tools and confidence you need to return to movement, safely and effectively.
This session can include:
- Pelvic floor assessment with real-time ultrasound
- Abdominal assessment, including a check for diastasis recti
- Posture and breathing assessment to help restore strength and function
- Scar massage information (if relevant)
- Education on managing symptoms and returning to exercise safely
- An individualised home exercise programme
- Goal setting that’s realistic and tailored to your recovery journey

Please come with a moderately full bladder for the best ultrasound results.
If you have specific pelvic floor concerns, or significant back, neck, or pelvic pain, we recommend booking a 1-hour Initial Appointment instead.
