Terms and Conditions of your Group Fitness Class or Physiotherapy Appointment


Credit card payment through Momence will be surcharged for 2.75% (subject to change, please refer to Momence and Stripe T&C).

Credit card payment through EFTPOS machine will be surcharged for 2.8%

A ‘no show’ to a booked class will incur a $10 ‘no show fee’, or forfeit the charge of a class. Your credit card will automatically be charged two hours after the class has finished.

Complimentary classes/passes cannot be waitlisted.

2 Week Introductory Memberships are not able to be suspended, and are non-refundable once commenced

Memberships are a rolling contract, with a $50 sign-up fee. You may suspend your membership for 4 weeks in a year, with a minimum of 7 days per suspension. One month’s notice must be given to cancel a membership. The Studio will close over the Christmas and New Year period. All memberships will be suspended during this time.

If your payment method defaults for any reason, your membership will expire after 5 days in which case you will need to re-purchase a new membership including the $50 sign-up fee.


You can book classes 8 weeks in advance.

Bookings are absolutely essential and must be made directly through Momence or in person at the studio. If you call or email and do not get a response then you will risk turning up to a class which is full and being denied.

2-Week Trial Pass Terms

2-Week Trial Passes are available to new customers of Unity Studios and are valid for a period of two weeks from the date that the first class is booked or attended. Customers may only purchase one single 2-Week Trial Pass. Once the 2-Week Trial Pass has ended, you will need to purchase classes individually, in packs or sign up to a monthly membership to continue use of the studio.

You will be able to attend 5 classes during the two-week period in both the reformer and mat studios. This excludes any physiotherapy treatments, individual sessions and Clinical Pilates. Late cancellations or ‘no shows’ will incur a $10 fee, which will be charged to the credit card on file.

We have live waitlists available to all our clients to improve the availability of our classes. If you are on the waitlist and are no-longer able to attend please remove yourself from the waitlist. This is because you are potentially preventing others from attending.

You will receive an automatic notification via email or text up until 1 hour before the class (depending on your alert configuration in Momence and on your App) if you are moved from the waitlist to the class. If you are unsure if you have this set up on your mobile device or through your Momence account, then please ask for assistance by calling the studio.

The cancellation policy will still be enforced for clients that are moved from the waitlist into the class that late-cancel or fail to attend a class.

New Clients

Please be at the studio five minutes before class start time.

Inform your instructor about any injuries or special conditions you may have. This will help the instructor know how to adjust you or show you modified exercises if necessary.

If you have undiagnosed pain or injury and have not seen a medical professional, we request you do so before your Pilates session.

Please be at the studio ten minutes before your first physiotherapy appointment to allow time to complete our registration forms.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life gets busy, so we are happy for you to change your booking ahead of the scheduled booking.

If you do not attend or cancel your session late, we are not always able to fill these places. This impacts the flow of the studio classes, and our physiotherapists’ remuneration.

It is for these reasons that if you need to change your booking, we require you to do so at least 12 hours before your booked class, or 48 hours before your booked physiotherapy appointment so that our physiotherapists and instructors can adapt accordingly. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee being incurred.

Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates Cancellation Policy:

Appointment ‘no shows’ will result in your online payment being void, and will require another payment to rebook. Appointment cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a late cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment cost.

We cannot assess late cancellations on a case-by-case basis. Appointment cancellations outside of 48 hours are refundable. Please allow 5-10 working days for refunds. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to turn you away due to insufficient time & your payment will in all cases be void.

 The following rates apply to cancellations of appointments with no pre-payment: $50 per 30 minutes.

Class Cancellation Policy:

For clients who fail to attend or cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled class time will be charged $10 fee or forfeit a class credit.

All clients on our Monthly Membership or Intro Offer will be charged a $10 fee, and all clients using a Casual Class or 10 Pack will forfeit a class credit in the case of late cancel/no show.

This applies to all Unity Studios clients.

Purchase Policy

Advanced payment is required to sign up for all classes and private appointments. All of our class purchases have expiration time periods. Please bear this in mind; exceptions to this will only be made in extreme circumstances. We accept cash, Eftpos, Visa and MasterCard. All bookings are subject to Unity Studios’ Cancellation Policy.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given. Under special circumstances refunds may be considered and approved by management. You may exchange a service you purchased for another service, or gift it to a friend but this is not applicable to any equipment or clothing.
